1. ARE MY DONATIONS TAX-DEDUCTIBLE?
YES!! All donors (even from other countries) will receive a prompt e-Receipt. USA donors also receive WOM's official non-profit 501 (c)3 Tax-Deductible Receipt for any giving (Donors can opt for e-Receipts or receipts mailed First Class).
2. WHAT IS MY DONATION GOING TO?
Donations made through our personal fundraising page https://www.WorldOutreach.org/975 will directly go to the Lodewyk family's mission work in South Africa as we serve vulnerable populations that are affected by crime within the Department of Correctional Services in South Africa. 3. WHAT ARE YOUR PERSONAL FINANCIAL NEEDS?
To do our ministry more successfully we are urgently trying to fundraise for:
1. Privately purchasing the house we are renting (we need a miracle of USD $200,000 or ZAR 2.5 million) by December 2025).
2. A 7 seater vehicle ($15,000 OR ZAR300,000)
3. Monthly Living Expenses Fundraising Goal $5,000 per month

Our family of 5+ normal living expenses per month (as of January 2024):

Rent, electricity, gas, water, internet, groceries, toiletries, phone bills, school expenses for Darren and Raeez comes down to about $2,650 per month or R47,700

(We drive about 1800km / 1120 mi per month as missionaries to the various correctional facilities and to the communities we work in.)

Additional Semi-Regular Relocation Costs (visa renewals / passport updates for our entire family and a miracle for purchasing a house) which boils down to: $200,000 for the year 2025. This amount is massive but we are believing with God to purchase a house so we can stay planted here in Cape Town in order to continue doing mission work here for the foreseeable future.
